We're delivering lots of improvements to our search functionality. Previously, users had to manually select the correct set of filters in the search bar to find a set of contracts. Now, we are introducing natural language search functionality. With this new feature, users can ask any question and quickly find the answer in their contracts using our dedicated Contract Copilot, Robin.

Powerful LLMs, fine-tuned for the legal industry by the specialist legal and technical teams at Robin AI, convert your question into smart filters that enable you to interrogate your contract data effectively and efficiently.

You can now use both natural language search and manual filtering. You can write a question, and your Contract Copilot will identify some filters to assist. You can then add further filters manually if needed, to find your desired result.

To use the Contract Copilot search feature, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Query module.
  2. Click on the search bar.
  3. As you start typing your query, an option "Ask Robin Copilot a Question" will appear.
  4. Once you finish typing your question, click on the "Ask Robin Copilot a Question" option.
  5. The system will generate a list of filters based on your question, along with a set of contracts that correspond to those filters.

As our technology is constantly evolving, there are some aspects that are still in development which users may encounter, such as:

  1. There may be cases where we need to display an error message, for example, if we do not find filters that are suitable for your question. In such instances, you can try to rephrase the question or apply the correct filters manually.
  2. Not all text inputs (for now) can be transferred into set of filters.
